Changing our city from the inside out!!!

Awake and Ablaze intercessory prayer and worship to heal the land!

Sunday, May 27th

The Synergy Network of Churches was formed for the purpose of "bringing churches together" to function as one body for the work of GOD.  Two of our key areas of repentance are to break down the walls of denomination, and close the racial divide.

As Brother Russell Howard stated, "there is no where in the scripture that you find denomination."  Pastor Lester May explained the concept of being one church.  There may be different "heads" or leaders of the church, and the churches may be in different locations, but they are all GOD's churches.  We are GOD's people.

Pastor Devin O'Neal said, "We talk about unity, but no one is actually doing it.  NOW IS THE TIME!  We need to start somewhere."

At one of our recent committee meetings the concept of Unity Worship and Intercession for the healing of our city was developed.  On the last Sunday of each month, churches will unite for prayer, worship, and intercession for the repentance and healing of our land.  The locations will vary, because the idea is to embrace each other as family....visiting one another's house (church).  The churches who decide to get involved will decide on THE church location of the month.  It could be you church (house), if you decide to get involved.

For the month of May, the church that was decided upon is Crossway Church located at 10161 Florida Blvd., Walker, La 70785.  Pastor Jeff will be starting his services at 6:00pm.

PLEASE GET INVOLVED!!!

Capital Area ReEntry Job Fair/Resource Fair!

Saturday, August 18, 2018

Capital Area Reentry Coalition, along with East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff, Louisiana Department of Safety and Corrections and Baton Rouge City Police are preparing a Job/Resource Fair.  This event is scheduled for Saturday, August 18, 2018.  The timeframe is 9:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.

We are seeking to make this a Community Event for All of Our East Baton Rouge Parish citizens.  The need in our community to become closer with Employers and Resources, as well as local Law Enforcements Agencies is great.  We want to close that gap and this event will be an awesome asset in helping us achieve this goal.  The Cortana Mall location is an ideal location for such an event as this. As with any event, location and size are key components for its success.  It's on the CATS' Bus route, which definitely meets our transportation needs. We are preparing an area for children to play and listen to stories being read, while their parents are engaged with employers and resource representatives.  Also, our organizations consist of Non-Profit Organizations.

We are looking forward to seeing you at such an AWESOME event!!!
